H. O. Bostrom Introduces Fire Crew SCBA Seat with 6-way Power Adjust and Integral Seatbelts

March 22, 2006 (Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA) - H.O. Bostrom Co. has designed the ultimate balance of comfort and safety for fire crew SCBA seating. The Tanker 450EX6/ABTS, SCBA seat features a 6-way power adjust to accommodate all user comfort requirements. With a simple flick of a switch firefighters can maneuver the 6" fore/aft adjust, the 2" height adjust and the seat tilt adjust to ensure proper fit in the seat.

The Tanker 450EX6/ABTS, SCBA seat has removable side cushions that allow you to comfortably store all SCBA brands in one seat. The side cushions can be left in-place for some SCBA tank styles. The side cushions can easily be removed to store SCBA tanks that have rigid back brace styles.

The ABTS (All-Belts-To-Seat) design offers a 3-point integrated seatbelt for easy access and comfort-increasing seatbelt usage.

For added convenience, our patented headrest opens to allow firefighters to easily exit the seat with a donned SCBA. An optional face mask storage pouch can also be added to the back of the headrest.
