The patented shock-absorbing pedestals feature an internal progressively-rated stainless steel spring that self-adjusts to occupant weight and sea conditions. The shock-absorbing system provides a steady ride and reduces boating fatigue as it absorbs shock waves and pounding in rough seas, in commercial, patrol, military and other high speed applications. The Seaspension® shock-absorbing pedestals are available in a variety of heights and mounting types for use with marine seats.
