Mechanical Product Design Engineer

The Product Design Engineer thrives in an environment that allows for the individual to take on full product design and project management responsibilities - from design conception through final production. Direct the work of Designers and technicians. Provide technical support to fabricators, welders and assemblers. Assure final product quality through a commitment to high quality and accurate designs, bills of materials, testing, work instructions, timely support and finished product audits.

Design Engineering Technician

The Design Engineering Technician supports the development, improvement and manufacturability of HO Bostrom products as a member of the Design Engineering team in a fast-paced, make-to-order environment. Duties include a mix of Cad layout, hands-on product development, testing and pre-production support. Mechanical design and assembly represents the majority of duties, with basic DC electrical knowledge needed for automotive connections to our products. Work closely with Design Engineers, Sales, and Production to create or improve products. Evaluate stress, strain, vibration, friction, fatigue and related performance requirements. Prepare and perform functional testing under the direction of Engineers. Document findings and prepare test reports. Maintain records of completed work.

Industrial Sewer

Using strong sewing/seamstress skills - a thorough knowledge of zippers, fabric, buttons, linings and patterns – the sewer will fabricate high-quality, final upholstery covering for seats. This involves utilization of a commercial sewing machine to assemble dozens of different styles in unlimited types of fabric, working independently.
